How I approach projects

From problem to practical solution.

01

Understand the problem

I start by defining the problem, identifying the important requirements, and understanding the constraints that will shape the design.

02

Design & build

I develop practical solutions through CAD, component selection, prototyping, fabrication, and hands-on assembly.

03

Test & improve

I evaluate how the solution performs, troubleshoot issues, and make changes based on what I learn through testing and real-world use.

Design. Build. Test. Improve.

I’m a mechanical engineer with a strong interest in hands-on design, testing, fabrication, and problem-solving. My experience spans automotive and powertrain projects, prototyping, machining, and hardware development, and I enjoy working through the full process from concept to build and test.

My background includes mechanical design, CAD, 3D printing, machining, testing, data acquisition, and hands-on hardware work. Through internships, school projects, and personal projects, I’ve worked with electric motor and inverter systems, battery and powertrain design, sensor instrumentation, soldering, wiring, and mechanical fabrication. Outside of formal engineering work, I enjoy working on cars, exploring mechanical and electrical systems, and experimenting with guitar and musical-instrument components. I’m drawn to projects where I can learn by building, troubleshooting, and improving real hardware.
